    What is NEET (UG) 2026?

    NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is the only entrance exam in India for admission into:

    B.Sc Nursing (in some institutions)

    It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

    • Online Application Start Date -08 February 2026
    • Last Date to Apply- 08 March 2026 (till 9:00 PM)
    • Last Date for Fee Payment- 08 March 2026 (till 11:50 PM)
    • Correction Window - 10 March 2026 – 12 March 2026
    • NEET 2026 Exam Date - 03 May 2026 (Sunday)
    • Exam Time - 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
    • Duration 3 Hours

    • You are eligible if : You are appearing for Class 12 in 2026
    • You have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology
    • Indian / NRI / OCI / Foreign Nationals can apply
    • Eligibility confirmation is subject to NMC / DCI / NCISM / NCH rules

    • Chemistry - 45 ( Questions ) , 180 ( Marks )
    • Biology (Botany + Zoology) - 90 ( Questions ) , 360 ( Marks )
    • Total - 180 ( Questions ) 720 ( Total Marks )

    Correct Answer = +4

    Wrong Answer = -1

    Unanswered = 0

    Total Duration: 3 Hours

    • You must select 3 cities while applying.
    • Centre allotment is computer-based.

    Not allowed: Mobile phone , Calculator , Smart watch , Wallet, Paper, notes, Metal items, Food items

    Strict frisking and biometric verification will be done.

    After NEET 2026

    Qualifying NEET does NOT guarantee admission. Admission depends on:

    Rank , Cut-off , Reservation , Counselling process , Medical fitness
