Annamalai University, located in Annamalainagar, Cuddalore district, is one of the oldest Universities in South India that came into existence in 1929 after 3 private institutions were handed over to the Government.

• Famously known as FEAT, it is the second engineering college of then Madras State. FEAT proudly celebrated its Golden Jubilee in the year 1996 and Diamond Jubilee in the year 2005.
• The college provides world-class education with strong ethical values to nurture and develop outstanding professionals fit for the globally competitive environment.
• The institute has also been a forerunner in making education accessible to countless citizens through distance education mode.
• All the programmes offered by the Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) are approved and accredited by the Distance Education Board (DEB).
• Faculty of Engineering and Technology offers a ton of courses with 12 UG and 15 PG courses right from Engineering and Technology, Communication Systems, Construction Engineering, Food Processing, Power Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and many others. The college also offers 1 diploma course in Mining Engineering.
• The University is AICTE-approved and holds a NAAC accreditation of ‘A++” grade with a CGPA of 3.38 out of 4.
• FEAT also holds NBA accreditation as well.
• FEAT had a sanctioned intake of 1314 students for the academic year 2023-24.
