Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE) formerly Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering
It was established in 1984 by the pioneering Kalasalingam Anandam Ammal Charities.
- NBA has accredited six engineering programmes under Tier-1 and 11 engineering departments have been accredited by ABET.
- The institution continues to do pathbreaking work on various Government and Non-Government research projects.
- Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education has also received DST (Department of Science and Technology) funding to establish the National Centre for Advanced Research in Discrete Mathematics.
