Kumaraguru College of Technology is one of the leading and reputed engineering institutions in Tamil Nadu functioning under the educational trust of Sakthi Group, Ramanandha Adigalar Foundation.

• The institute came into shape under the auspices of Arutchelvar Dr N. Mahalingam, a Padma Bhushan awardee responsible for establishing many educational institutions and known for his great Philanthropic activities, and cultural and spiritual organizations.

• Established in 1984, Kumaraguru College of Technology wields a rich legacy of education and infrastructure and is located in Saravanampatti, Coimbatore district. The institute is situated on a sprawling campus of 156 acres with a well-established infrastructure.

• KCT has partnered with a Coimbatore-based Innovation and Business Incubator named FORGE to engage students in various innovation and entrepreneurship-related activities.
• KCT also hosts the Institution’s Innovation Cell (KCT-IIC) which encourages students in activities such as ideation, problem-solving, proof of concept development, design thinking, etc. so that the culture gets established among the students.
