RMK Engineering College is a flagship branch of the RMK Group of Institutions. This autonomous college owns a rich legacy of 25+ years of service in the field of technical education.
- It was established in 1995 in Gummidipoondi, Thiruvallur district and currently offers 11 Undergraduate and 2 Postgraduate courses in Engineering and Technology.
- The long-term vision of RMK Engineering College is to be the most preferred destination in the country for pursuing education in engineering and doctoral research and to transform learners into achievers at the global level with the right attitude towards changing societal needs.

➡️ I have successfully completed my BE in this college in EEE. ➡️Jeans and mobiles are not allowed inside the campus by anyone.(including parents). ➡️ Infrastructure is okok. ➡️ Food is best in this college. ➡️ Hostels are also maintained very neatly and very safe for students. ➡️ Jenifer mam truly supports her counselling students a lot in all aspects.

NOTE: I am Level 8 Google Reviewer (Top Level) & hence take my review seriously. I belong to 1998 to 2002 batch (Electronics & Communication Engineering). RMK Engineering College is one of the best college not only in Tamilnadu but also in India with NIRF Ranking of 154 (Please note that NIRF Rankings also include IITs, NITs etc). Our Chairman R S Muniratnam Naidu worked very hard with the Vision that RMK will be one of the top institutions in India 🇮🇳. And he went on to achieve that. Faculty is very good & they work very hard for students to get good grades. 1. Institute focus is on Discipline & Punctuality. These qualities will imbibe you as a better person in the society. 2. Every student needs to travel by Bus. They focus on Equality 3. Food is provided in the Campus & is Compulsory. Food is Awesome. 4. Best of the Industry Internships. Many companies have set up Labs inside including Bosch India. 5. Students get university ranks. Credit goes to Faculty. 6. One must be clean shaved & wear formal dress. Institute gets you prepared for Corporate World. Also it helps you to create the first best impression. College follows the Indian Tradition which needs to be appreciated. 7. Mobile phones are not allowed. Note that mobile addiction is a major issue now a days & this is a fantastic step towards Mobile De Addiction. Great initiative. 8. Placements are the best. Don't have a second thought in joining this institution. I did my Master's from IIM Kozhikode (2006) & M.S by Research from IIT Madras (2009). The foundation was set at RMK. Thank you so much

Hi there, passing out of this college, was a nightmare for me. Though friends were there which was helpful, strict rules made to act like foolish and I was just accepting everything just to secure a job at the end the course (since this colllege is famous for placements). But last, placed in a company, attended training for 9 months, and finally the offer was revoked. The college is claiming that it's not our issue due to your performance and won't give any placements anymore (1 offer per head). Not only me, a big crowd have been rejected and waiting. Thus, studying here is not a guarantee for job and syllabus is underrated currently claiming that industry standards.

A well disciplined college with good infrastructure and learned faculty. Run by a management that cares for the welfare of the student community.Good college to develop yourself especially experienced staff coaching to learn about the subject & life. The college is pretty good with all the necessary amenities provided with enriched faculties resulting in quality education. Students are given freedom to express their views and opinions and to engage themselves in various culture programs and conferences apart from academics. Well equipped and maximum placement offering college. Good mentor-ship for the students. The college not only focuses on academic, but also guides and support us to bring out our innovative ideas. It provides good platform to expose our talents and to learn everything. It is well known for its tasty and healthy food.

The infrastructure of this college is clean and environmental. The transportation facilities are comfortable, provided with all locations. Food is hygienic and well served. Faculty interaction and involvement among students and parents is appreciable and they provide much regards. The way they educate the educate the students and come up with differents schedules for the welfare of students is appreciable. Placement facilities is also provided with wide range of well know companies with a desired ranges. And thereby this serves one of the most credible and viable college for all students to graduate and and carve their career in a perfect manner.
