Tirunelveli Medical College also known as TVMC, is a public medical institution in south India, located in the city of Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India.The college is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University and is recognized by the Medical Council of India and World Health Organization.The State Government of Tamil Nadu's Department of Health & Family Welfare is the only owner and operator of Tirunelveli Medical College (TVMC), a postgraduate research institution in southern India. According to the Government of India's NIRF Ranking 2021, which is approved by the Nursing Council of India (for nursing programs) and the National Medical Commission of India (for medical programs), we are one of the top 50 medical schools in the country.
