- *Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT University)*: Known for its world-class infrastructure and faculty, VIT University is one of the top private engineering colleges in India ¹. These colleges offer a great environment, excellent faculty, and good placement opportunities, making them some of the best colleges in Vellore.

A premier institution of higher education in India that strives to keep up to date with the leading edge of technology and research. Beautiful campus too. The students intake is definitely too high though.

If you look at the campus, it’s greenery and Wow. It’s located on the Katpadi road and the surrounding area is very happening. Facilities and security inside the campus is very good and everything is systematic. But nowadays the campus is overcrowded and competition is very tough. The campus is clean, nice looking and maintained well. It is easily accessible and placement is also very good. Overall VIT is a good choice after IITs and NITs.

VIT Vellore, a beautiful resort style lush green campus greets one that enters the campus situated in Katpadi. Like a fort the campus is heavily guarded by well uniformed, alert and helpful security guards and supervisors. The main building can be seen over-looking the entrance - is the administrative block where the founder and his sons office is located. There is a big lake surrounded by trees that is presently not accessible by studenta or visitors. Ample car parking throughout the campus. The campus boasts several canteens which offers subsidised food. The campus is not accessible by general public.

As per my personal experience VIT is far better than many of IIT'S AND NITs of India in terms of placement and education and also very good in terms of greenery you will always have fresh air inside and outside of the university area.
