Good institute for students who prepare & prefer Plastic & Moulding engineering field. One can choose Short term Diploma, 3years Diploma or B.Engg in Plastic engg or Moulding Technology. Yesterday this institute celebrated its 50th anniversary. Admissions are through competitive exams like TNEA, GATE, etc only.

I went to this institute for a purpose of industrial visit For the concept of polymer making by different types of moulding And I had a very good atmosphere here The students are informative & they have good concepts

The only advantage of studying here is because of the rarity of the course. Other than that everything is trash. The machines won't work, explicit language by some staffs, improper management and all such rubbish. This is a honest review by a CIPET student. Thank you

I worked here for a long time, so I'll be honest with my appraisal. Unique courses offered in polymer science, no doubt Pioneering faculty joined up to 1995 were good and committed. Then the rot started with massive expansion, mostly other than need based. When IITs are not getting faculty, how will cipet? So many compromises happened and the quality of students who joined also deteriorated. In fact few seats remain vacant and you need to canvass about your courses. So supply increased but industry found very few suitable students to recruit. The downward spiral needs to be addressed on priority. That will help everyone, the institution, the students and most importantly, the industry.

Good place to learn if you are interested enough in the field of plastic technology. There are many experienced persons available and they are really open for teaching. Environment, food and all are good. Also they provide many free courses with free accommodation for food and stay. People should utilise these opportunities well. Thank you.
