In Tamil Nadu's Nagapattinam district, the Government Medical College, Nagappatinam, has just opened for business. from the 2021–2022 school year. At a cost of Rs 366.8 crore, the Government Medical College, Nagapattinam was built on 60.04 hectares at Orathur, close to Nagapattinam. The National Medical Commission approved the college's entrance once it finished its work.
