Ultra College of Pharmacy, a leader in pharmacy education, was founded in 1981 with the goal of giving the public access to high-quality pharmacy education. An important player in the field of pharmacy education is ULTRA College of Pharmacy, Madurai, which is a member of Ultra Trust. In addition to Ph.D. programs in three departments (pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, and pharmaceutical biotechnology), the college offers D.Pharm., B.Pharm., and M.Pharm. programs in six specializations (pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutical biotechnology, and pharmacy practice). The All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, the Pharmacy Council of India, and Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, have all granted the college its approval.
