University College of Engineering Kancheepuram is a constituent engineering college of Anna University, Chennai and was established by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu with the aim of providing quality engineering education to students from various parts of Tamil Nadu.
- It was established in 2010 in the locality of Karaipettai, Kancheepuram district and currently offers 4 Undergraduate courses in Engineering and Technology.
- The University College of Engineering is a place for budding engineers from backward districts to begin their engineering aspirations and widen their technical knowledge by accessing the technical resources available inside the campus.
- The vision of this college is to be the best at serving society by promoting the institution as a centre of excellence in technical education and research.

If you believe in you that you can study in your own and get placed then this is the College for you, as I completed my graduation in cse from my personal experience except few teachers rest of the whole department is full of waste people with worst attitude... mainly a person named mani such a worst person I have ever seen in my life with full of attitude and arrogance he only help us to manage mental pressurein our future as he give a lot of mental pressure to students , even the whole College is just named as anna university sub branch but they don't even bring placements , and give training for placements but with out any shame will give false report and banners about student placements... dear freshers if you are thinking to join the College by the positive reviews and from others please don't believe it it's not going to be TRUE I don't know about other department but especially CSE.... the worstttt...... in simple joining this College only help you to own the degree , with out any knowledge, (simply waste).

Good Environment, Near by no Bus Stop you have to walk to the junction poonarri karai from there you have Share auto to kanchipuram Bus Stop and Railway station.

am from mechanical department 2022 passed out. really good campus with friendly staffs, as a mechanical engineering student am very grateful to our staffs. and environment is really good. hostel facilities okay in this campus. its a good campus. added one pic of MECHANICAL FAREWELL party
